EAGLES Need The Chiefs (Sept 25- 27)

This game is important on many levels.

• Kolb needs his 1st win
• Vick needs some real reps
• Don’t need McNabb verses Chiefs
• Defense needs an ego boost
• McCoy needs some serious rushing attempts
• Chiefs stink until prove otherwise

Andy’s to do list:

• Run the gosh darn ball you stubborn fool! The O-line needs the rep and the attitude builder

 

• Calm down with the “LameCat” formation – Although honestly when Vick does it, I don’t consider it a gimmick. He will do what he did for 6 or 7 years prior to jail
• Keep Kolb’s passing attempts under the DOW point average
• Win going away

First 2 weeks – 81 pass attempts to 54 rush attempts – the usual Andy Philosophy. That counts 4 Kolb attempts, 4 McNabb attempts, and 5 DeSean Jackson carries. Are you serious Andy?

Eagles D does have 7 sacks in first 2 games, but most of them were Jake Delhomme.

Eagles have allowed 109 rushing yards against them per game.

29 points against is a little misleading since that includes points not the fault of D – but both games opened with the opposing offense shoving it down the Eagles D for an opening TD!

Ironically the Eagles have rushed for an average of 132 yards per game in first 2 weeks. Too bad Andy thinks that is all the more reason to keep rushing to a minimum.

I love Andy, especially since I am a fat Andy also but really you don’t get the idea of being 2 dimensional. Did you notice the “pass happy” Sean Payton had his pass happy QB throw the ball 34 times and the Saints ran 29 times? It’s okay to pass more but really a 1 to 3 ratio makes the opposing teams defense much easier. You are making yourself 1 dimensional. So even if you run the ball for 6 yards per carry why would the opposing defense care if you aren’t going to run that much?

Just do the math bro!
