@ WEEK 7 FANTASY PREDICTIONS (PART 1)

Let’s get right down to business.

Colts vs Rams

Start: Peyton Manning-Manning has thrown for over 300 yards in every game he has played this year, the Rams defense is awful.  Expect manning to keep his 300 yard streak going and likely rack up a few touchdowns.

Sit: Stephen Jackson-The Rams have no passing game to distract the Indy defense from concentrating on the run, and with Bob Sanders likely to make his first start of the season look for this already solid defense to get even better.

Patriots vs Buccaneers

Start: Tom Brady-Quarterbacks like Tony Romo and Donovan McNabb put up their best statistical games againt the Bucs secondary.  While I don’t think Brady will match last weeks 6td performance I do expect big numbers from him this Sunday.

Sit: Cadillac Williams and Derrick Ward-Lost in last weeks offensivle explosion by the Pats is the fact that the defense held the Titans to a shut out, behind a rookie QB the Bucs offense isn’t very explosive.  Expect Williams and Ward to have trouble establishing a running game.

Vikings vs Steelers

Start: Brett Favre-Without Polamalu the Steelers pass defense just isn’t as impressive as it used to be.  Favre is getting very comfortable with Berrian, Harvin, Rice, and Shiancoe.  Expect another impressive game from Favre.

Sit: Adrian Peterson-Yes thats right but only if you have two other good backs to start, the Steelers can still stop the run.  Peterson will get plenty of hand offs, he will run hard, and he will tire the Steelers front line out.  He won’t pick up that many yards though.

Chargers vs Chiefs

Start: Ladainian Tomlinson-after returning from injury last week LT didn’t look half bad against a good Broncos defense.  This week against a much less talented Chiefs defense he should have his best game of the season, and maybe even look like the old LT.

Sit: Matt Cassell-Two years ago the Chargers had one of the best defenses in the NFL.  This year they have struggled even with the return of Shawn Merriman.  Look for the Charger D to have a strong game against a weak defense.  This means bad news for Matt Cassell.

Packers vs Browns

Start: Aaron Rodgers-Last week Rodgers had a big game against a terrible Lions defense, this week expect the same thing against an equally unimpressive Browns defense.

Sit: Ryan Grant-Grant hasn’t found the end zone as often as he should have in this high powered offense.  He also has yet to break 100 yards rushing.  Even against the Browns I don’t see him putting up numbers that are anything other then average.

49ers vs Texans

Start: Matt Schaub-through weeks 2-6 Schaub and Peyton Manning are arguably the most productive fantasy QB’s in the NFL.  With Andre Johnson and all of his other weapons don’t expect the 49ers to slow Schaub down at all.

Sit: Frank Gore-If he plays this weill be Gore’s first week back from injury.  Houston has a young fast defense, expect Gore to need atleast this one game to shake some rust off.
