Eagles lose 24 to zip but wait, something is askew!

 

Last year around this time the Eagles romped the Cowgirls at the Linc ending the Cowgirls run. That set up the 2009- 2010 drama however.

 

Yes the NFL now ordered Andy Reid and his team to put up a pancake in Dallas. Why? That is obvious isn’t it?

 

1. Jerry Jones new $1,300,000,000 vanity shrine dubbed as JerryWorld

2. Dallas’s choking in 2008-09 hides the facts of the league wanting Dallas in for 2009-2010

3. The Eagles are still in playoffs despite taking the dive

4. And then there is the Favre factor. The NFL did not want the Eagles to take the shining lite off of the narcissist Vikings QB. He is a ratings magnet. They have to give Favre the best chance to get to the Bowl. You can’t have Favre get rocked in the 1st round if you’re the NFL

5. Would the Eagles suck that much if it weren’t planned?

This game was over in about 35 seconds. The Eagles were pathetic. Let’s start with the lack of defense.

This is a joke. And the worst part is the defense has been suspect all year but the numbers did not always show it. Of coures some of it I should credit the defense in a way. The Eagles did have an abundant number of stops for lost yardage plays. But that is also a sign of inconsistency when you make big plays but opponents sustain drives.

Once the Cowgirls pile-drived the Eagles in the opening possession I knew the rushing game was put on the shelf. Andy loves any excuse to throw and not run. 36 passes to 10 runs? Are serious? Hey doofus Marty and stubborn Andy! Did it ever occur to you that had you been able to or even tried running the ball a little more early in the game you would have had the ball a little longer? The fact that Dallas dominated time of possession is part of why you got rocked.

 

Here is a million dollar question. Why is it whenever your Pro Bowl running back Brian Westbrook is in the line up you don’t run the ball? All of the sudden McCoy and Weaver disappear! Why?

 

This was a public wedgie my friends!

 

Hey Andy and the Eagles guess what? You just got pants-ed on National TV!
